About
Hike For Hospice
Hike for Hospice is an annual fundraising event that brings the community together to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and support compassionate end-of-life care at Grey Bruce Hospice. Each year, participants of all ages gather to walk, hike, or run in support of Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation, ensuring that individuals facing a terminal illness receive dignified, no-cost palliative care in a comforting environment.
This family-friendly event is not just a fundraiser—it’s a chance to celebrate memories, show support for hospice care, and connect with others who share a passion for giving back. Whether you participate in memory of a loved one, as a supporter of hospice care, or simply to enjoy a meaningful day in nature, every step you take helps us continue providing comfort, peace, and support to those in need.
Join us for Hike for Hospice and be part of something truly impactful! 💙
What To Expect At Hike For Hospice:
Community Gather
Bring the whole family to enjoy kids’ games and activities, live performances, local vendors, tasty treats, and plenty of opportunities to meet neighbors, share stories, and honour loved ones. Whether you’re here to hike, volunteer, or simply soak up the spirit of community, there’s something for everyone. Come together, make memories, and help us walk for compassionate care close to home
BBQ
Join us after the walk for mouthwatering burgers, smokey BBQ favourites, refreshing drinks, and sweet treats — perfect for families and friends. Enjoy a relaxed, picnic-style atmosphere with seating, live music, kids’ activities nearby, and local vendors. Come for the food, stay for the community, and help support compassionate care close to home.
Music
Enjoy uplifting music throughout Hike for Hospice to keep spirits high before, during, and after the walk. From family-friendly tunes and upbeat performances, the soundtrack will bring energy, comfort, and moments of reflection. Let the music enhance our community celebration in support of compassionate care.
The Hike
Lace up your shoes and take part in the hike, a meaningful journey through fresh air, scenic trails, and community spirit. Whether you walk at your own pace or alongside friends and family, every step supports compassionate end-of-life care in our region.
